Withhold heads to Ascot for the Long Distance Cup

 In Beckhampton News

Today Withhold travels to Ascot for the ‘Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup’. Having had a 269-day break before his first run of this season he put in a fantastic performance at Newbury to win the ‘Marsh Cup’. He went on to run in the ‘Sky Bet Ebor’ at York in which he finished 13th out of 22 runners. He then went to Newmarket for the ‘Jockey Club Rose Bowl Stakes (Listed Race)’ in which he was back to the winner’s enclosure having won by 6 lengths. Today’s race is a big ask especially taking on the highly competitive Stradivarius. The race holds a total of 10 runners with all being very competitive. Withhold goes into the race in good order and we hope to see a strong run from him today. Jason Watson takes the ride.
