Zaman Jemil breaks his maiden and three runners head to Ffos Las

 In Beckhampton News

Yesterday we sent Zaman Jemil to Newcastle for the racing league meeting to make his handicap debut in the ‘William Hill Bet Boost Racing League R19 (Handicap) (For Horses Reg’ To Racing League)’ for owner Jaber Abdullah in the colours of Team Wales and The West. He sat prominet in the race until taking up the lead over a furlong from home. He kept on strongly to win the race by nearly 3 lengths under Frankie Dettori.

Today we send out three runners to Ffos Las.

Youm Zaman is our first runner of the day and heads to Ffos Las to run in the ‘Alpha Heating Innovation / EBF Novice Stakes’ for owner Jaber Abdullah. He has had one career start prior to today which was at Ascot over 7 furlongs. Today he runs over 7 and a half furlongs in a 13 runner field. He has been drawn 8 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride. He should have improved from his 1st start and hopefully put in a promising run today.

Vivien is our second runner of the day and heads to Ffos Las to run in the ‘Heatforce Restricted Maiden Stakes’ for owner Ms Sharon Kinsella. She has had one career start prior to today which was at Kempton over a mile. Today she steps up in trip to a mile and 2 furlongs in a 9 runner race. She has been drawn 7 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride.

Amalfi Bay is our final runner heading to Ffos Las and runs in the ‘Plumbase Handicap’ for owners Elite Racing Club. He is a winner of 2 races over a mile and 4 furlongs. He ran over 2 miles on his most recent start and was a little disappointing. Today he is back to a mile and 4 furlongs in a field of 9 runners. He has been drawn 1 with David Probert taking the ride.
